Did you know that it would perfectly possible for Avon to meet Captain Kirk, even though Avon is from Blakes 7 and Captain Kirk is from Star Trek?
I will now explain how using internets pictures to illustrate...
Here is Avon, being handsome in the Blakes 7 episode Weapon. This episode also features the character of Carnell, who looks like this:
Later on, Carnell appeared in the Kaldor City stories:
(Now technically we don't need this first step because Avon also appears in Kaldor City, but since he is called Kaston Iago instead of Kerr Avon I will use Carnell as my stepping-stone because he has the same name in both.)
Kaldor City gets us to Doctor Who, because it is the same planet where the story Robots of Death takes place, and the same robots and some of the same characters appear.
Much later, when he was being played by Sylvester McCoy, the Doctor met the robot freelance peace-keeping agent Death's Head:
Death's Head had previously been in the Transformers comic:
So had Spider-manny:
Spider-manny makes lots of appearances in comics. Another manny who appears in lots of comics is Wolverine:
Sorry, that's the wrong picture. Suffice to say, Spider-manny and Wolverine have met at least once (and probably many many many times).
Wolverine met Mr Spock from Star Trek once. They had a fight. Sort of.
And as we all know, Mr Spock is Captain Kirk's best friend.
Except for Avon.

350th post
It is now 2013. Last year there was a lot of talk on the internets about the Avengers. I really like the Avengers, but sadly the internets-talk was almost all about Captain America, the Hulk, Iron Manny and so on. While I like Iron Manny as much as the next cat, and Gamma Longcat likes the Hulk so much that we once collaborated on a story in which the Hulk meets Willy from Mission: Impossible and Gamma Longcat managed to make it the whole way through without any naps, they are not the best Avengers.
This is the best Avengers:
This year I will be watching lots of Avengers with John Steed to make up for the lack of him in Avengers last year. Hopefully they will remember to include him in the sequel, but if not then I will make up for it by writing stories in which he meets Tony Stark and they have adventures together.
